I was asked to create a brand Identity for a new pre-paid cellular brand called Code Mobile. The brand was targeted at a young, urban demographic and was to compete with other pre-paid cellular brands like Boost and Cricket. Ultimately the brand was never launched, but I thought some of this design exploration was worthy of showing.
Below shows the logo in development...
The client liked the idea of using an emoticon in the logo, so I  explored variations of the icon and it's playful expression...
And then I explored a color palette that would set it apart from it's competitors.
Below is the final logo and color scheme that was chosen...
